BREAKING: YOU have put Danang dolphin park project in doubt - now WE must ALL keep up the pressure

11 December 2015

Word has reached Animals Asia’s Vietnam office that plans for a dolphinarium in Danang, Vietnam - have been been put on hold following our campaign which saw city leaders deluged by objections.

Our petition has already gained over 5,000 signatures and beyond this we understand that letters from both locals and people across the world have swayed Danang officials.

Read more about the plans and why we believe Danang can be an environmental leader in Vietnam if they make the right decision.

Animals Asia Animal Welfare Director Dave Neale said:

“This is very promising news and we know now that our campaign is having a real impact. Danang city leaders have a reputation for listening, common sense and understanding the importance of environmentally friendly development. We should be cautiously optimistic.

“What we must not do is think this campaign is already won. We must double our efforts and keep the pressure on. We feel we are closer than ever to saving these dolphins from such an awful fate.”

Please sign our petition to ask Danang City leaders NOT to go forward with plans to build a dolphinarium.
