We have two devoted and active Animals Asia volunteer groups in Canada for Canadians who want to get involved.

Our Toronto Volunteer Group is run by Animals Asia sister supporters Dr. Julie Chan & Sook-Yee Chan. They started an organization called Peace for Paws their mission is to advocate for animal welfare, reduce animal suffering and promote compassionate living through education, awareness and fundraising. Animals Asia is one of the organization they promote. Recent events Toronto Volunteer Group have had this year is their Annual 5K Walk, Toronto Veggie Parade and Charity Sale. These are only a few events they have held.

Animals Asia's Southwestern Ontario Volunteer Group has generated a great deal of interest in our work by reaching out to local business people, artists, and the media. The group recently organized and hosted a very successful screening of the award-winning Animals Asia documentary "Cages of Shame," with more exciting outreach planned for the future.
