Michelle is the co-founder of Pixie B, a media consultancy. A seasoned corporate executive and qualified accountant, Michelle is a specialist in supporting and advising businesses in the process of change, undertaking strategic reviews, and repositioning organizations for growth. She has previously held leadership positions at The Financial Times, Tatler Asia and Pearson.

Originally from South Africa, Michelle's love and passion for the welfare and care of animals started early, helping care for the long list of animals - lost, injured, or otherwise - that came into the family home. From a young child, she was aware of the plight of the wild rhinos who shared her home province and the pressures caused by the trade in rhino horn.

Michelle has lived in Asia since 2006, and is a keen traveller and photographer. Michelle and her wife are the proud parents of the world’s shyest rescue dog Rufus, his cheeky and confident little sister, Ziggi as well as kittens Katniss and Grey, who are masters of the background Zoom bomb."
