This year on a sunny New Year's Day as I walked through our graveyard in Chengdu with rescued dogs Muppet and To Zhai, I caught my breath in surprise to see a beautiful white lilly on Andrew's grave...

... and more colourful flowers on the graves of Rupert and Franzi.

There by the graveside of an un-named dog were more flowers...

Whoever you are, thank you. You show more respect to these bears in death than was shown to them in life on the farms, and we love you on behalf of all of our sleeping giants for offering them such tenderness and care as they sleep underneath the ground.
