The youth of China call for bear farming to end

Headed up by Ray Zhu in our US office, this has been the most remarkable campaign. Over 100 Chinese Students and Scholars Associations in universities across the world have signed up to "urge our country to end the cruel and unnecessary practice of bear bile farming."
With descriptions such as "vicious" and "torture", these future leaders of China make no apologies for how they feel about this stain on their country, believing that an industry profiting from cruelty and death of an endangered species has no future at all. Their parents must be so proud to hear their intelligent, compassionate children defending the bears.
May this growing crescendo of their voices reach those who can make the right decision, and show they are listening to the young of China so determined to end this industry of shame.
