Earlier this month police in Central Java, Indonesia, intercepted a truck carrying 78 dogs destined for the dog meat trade. This is the first time authorities in Indonesia have taken direct action against the illegal trade and is a huge victory for those campaigning for its end and our partners Dog Meat Free Indonesia were there to help the rescued dogs.
