Moon bear cubs are taken from the wild to become exotic pets or used in entertainment. They’re stolen, trafficked and used for human profit.

Moon bears can live up to 35 years. These cubs have their entire lives ahead of them, that’s three decades trapped in a cage. They deserve so much more.

Brothers Trang Tron (Full Moon) and Trang Khuyet (Crescent Moon) were found completely alone near the forest, their mother likely killed in front of them.

When they came to us they were malnourished, cold and afraid.

The tiny cubs had only each other to cling to for comfort.

Cubs need round-the-clock care, and these delicate babies had a long road of recovery ahead of them.

Thanks to our generous donors and our fantastic bear care team, these cubs are slowly healing.

As they grew, they began exploring an exciting outdoor area with lots of toys.

Now the brothers are much larger, much healthier and their mischievous spirits are in full force.

At the safety of sanctuary, their personalities shine through.
