Sun bear cubs are often stolen from their wild homes by wildlife traffickers.Torn from their mothers, their lives are often altered forever before they’ve even had a chance to begin.

When we found Cubby Leo as a tiny cub, she was alone and terrified, confined to a rusty cage with no comfort and no future. 

Because of compassionate supporters like you, we were able to rescue her and bring her to safety at our sanctuary.

After 10 years in a cage, she is no longer alone. She has friends to explore with, a devoted care team keeping her healthy and strong, and a cozy den where she can finally rest.
