When we reached bear cubs Anh and Em, they were stuck in a tiny gap between a fireplace and a garage. It was vital that we got them out as quickly as possible.

Two sets of the saddest brown eyes you’ve ever seen blinked back at us from the shadows.

At only a few months old, Anh and Em’s little hearts were already broken. Taken from their wild habitat, and their mother likely killed before their very eyes. 

Can you imagine how terrified they must’ve been?

They were shaking and frightened, so we set up blankets in a cage to encourage them to come out.

Eventually, they moved into the cage, but this was only the beginning. We had no idea what they’d endured before we arrived. They were extremely hungry and needed round-the-clock care to save them.

After a long road to recovery, Anh and Em are now safe at our sanctuary and are thriving.

Because of wonderful supporters like you, these two bears will never again experience the horrors they narrowly escaped.

But there are more cubs who may not be so fortunate. Cubs face an uncertain future after being stolen from wildlife traffickers but your donation could help us rescue them before it’s too late.
