For some cats and dogs, their lives are ripped away from them for the sake of the meat trade. They suffer immense, unimaginable pain. Many are snatched from the streets or people’s homes. They will then live in gruelling and often fatal conditions, to eventually be sold for slaughter.

Many cats and dogs that just narrowly escape the horror of the meat trade are taken in by shelters, shelters that are underfunded and overwhelmed. Your donation can change that, please give now to help them heal.

You can be a vital part of our Cat and Dog Welfare Team, here are some of the key areas your generosity could support:

• Ending Cat/Dog Meat Consumption: we teach people that cats and dogs are loving companions. 
• Saving Animals and Making Shelters Better: we help rescue cats and dogs from the meat trade and offer training to animal shelters in China so they can care for more animals in need.
• Caring for Stray Animals: We work with the governments and local communities to make sure stray cats and dogs are treated kindly. This includes Trap-Neuter-Release programmes and helping to reduce the amount of animals and people getting sick with rabies
