Cocoon was stolen from her mother and strapped to the back of a motorcycle. She was forced into a tiny metal birdcage, a cage so small she could barely turn around.

When rescuers reached Cocoon, she was shaking with fear and heartbroken after losing her mother.

She had lost everything – her family, her wild home, and her freedom.

Now, thanks to the kindness of people like you, Cocoon is thriving at our sanctuary after being rescued. 

But there are still cubs out there who aren’t so lucky. Every day, tiny bears are taken from their families and trapped in cages, facing cruelty and abuse.
