After decades of unimaginable abuse, bears like Sen have finally begun to experience kindness.

But now, they have another battle to fight. As a direct result of years – often decades – of cruel bile farming, their gallbladders are in critical condition and they need urgent surgery.

This isn’t a ‘simple’ surgery. Each surgery can last up to 9 hours and requires two surgeons, an anaesthetist and at least one vet nurse.
