Our Southwestern Ontario Volunteer Group had a vibrant presence at the massive Pawlooza Festival in Canada for the third year in a row, welcoming attendees with an Animals Asia booth and six volunteers. Pawlooza is an annual celebration of dogs and animal lovers, taking place this year on International Homeless Animals’ Day – Saturday, August 17. The festival brought together an estimated 25,000 people and 6,000 dogs. Many festival-goers stopped by the booth - eager to learn about Animals Asia’s work – speaking with volunteer group leader Colleen Burns, and volunteers, Tim, Phyllis, Suzanne, Melody, and Dave.
