Kerri Rodley Takes on the NYC Marathon

Originally hailing from Sydney, Australia, Kerri has been a devoted supporter of Animals Asia since she first heard about our work to put an end to bear bile farming in the ‘90s. Says Kerri, “Bears have always been my favorite animal and any animal in pain and suffering makes me very upset. I couldn’t believe humans could be so cruel. I started donating straight away and telling others about my favorite charity.”

Having recently moved with her husband to Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, professional organizer Kerri has held numerous creative and fun fundraisers for the bears over the years. From a “Bear Naked Wardrobe Sale” which saw people decluttering their closets for fundraising sales, to a cooking class called “The Bearylicious Chocolate Master Class”, to a holiday bus-shopping trip deemed “The Bear Essentials Shopping Tour,” Kerri continually comes up with new ways to help the bears.
