Animals & Us

Someone recently sent this link to the BBC World Service: One Planet - Animals & Us.

It's a discussion of vivisection, which has a 90 per cent failure rate when the successful animal treatments are used on people, and where the interviewees believe that animal experimentation is vastly oversold. Powerful arguments when considering that the number of animal procedures in Britain today are higher than they were in 1987.

Just 30 minutes of your time to reflect on the reasons we should urgently be reducing and ending animal use - and why, as the narrator says, social justice for other species might actually benefit humans.
