About LumiVoce founder Dr. Ying Ying Liu



Ying Ying Liu (劉螢螢) as the daughter of China's most renowned 20th century composer, Liu Chi (劉熾), grew up surrounded by the beauty and power of music, which she credits with helping her family overcome many hardships during China's Cultural Revolution. She is steeped in Eastern and Western musical traditions and earned her a DMA (Doctor of Musical Arts) from the Eastman School of Music in the U.S. She taught music at the university level, performed as a classical pianist and soprano in Asia, Europe and the U.S. As Founder of LumiVoce - A Voice for the Wild, Ying Ying now devotes her musical talent to wildlife conservation, a cause she is passionate about.

LumiVoce, a Hong Kong charity that sheds light (Lumi) on the plight of wildlife that are being driven to near extinction by human demand, and to provide a voice (Voce) so that these endangered creatures may be heard and protected. About Ensoul and Wanwu 萬物— All Living Things

Ensoul (giving soul back to the world) is the flagship album of LumiVoce and is currently in production. Wanwu 萬物 — All Living Things is the inaugural track of the Ensoul album. The track, which is set to launch globally on November 1, 2017, combines sounds of nature with an iconic melody from the Western classical tradition, blending diverse rhythms and instrumentation from Africa. Through music Ying Ying illustrates humans' connection with nature and the importance of a sustainable future for all living things.

Swire Properties in Beijing is proudly to feature "Wanwu 萬物 - All Living Things" on their big screen at Sanlitun, Taiguli in Beijing (北京太古里三里屯) in support of conservation and environmental sustainability.

Swire Properties, Taiguhui Guangzhou (广州太古汇) is also going to feature "Wanwu 萬物 - All Living Things" in their WeChat article and Weibo posting.

At the Women of Influence (WOI) Award luncheon of American Chamber of Commerce HK, Ying Yin will be performing the Single.
