We were called to help when this terriied little bear was found
crying out in pain and fear. Her paw had been in the trap for
days. she’d chewed part of it away in a desperate bid to

escape. It’s hard to imagine the terror and agony she endured.

Rainbow’s mangled paw was literally rotting away. Back at the

sanctuary our vets performed life-saving amputation, and her
recovery began...
