UK COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING MANAGER

Location: Home based
Salary: Circa £24,000 - £28,000 p.a. (plus car allowance)

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within Animals Asia and play a vital role in developing our voluntary community fundraising team and exploring new fundraising opportunities.
We are fortunate to have the support of a determined and inspiring volunteer fundraising team based throughout the UK and we are now looking to support and develop our fundraising potential in this area. This role requires the management of our volunteer team of fundraisers, to sign up regular supporters and raise vital long-term funding for Animals Asia as well as nurturing individual fundraisers and exploring new fundraising opportunities.
The role focuses on generating the funds that support our programmes in China and Vietnam, namely End Bear Bile Farming, Cat and Dog Welfare and Zoos and Safari Parks. The successful candidate will have an integral part to play in achieving the UK’s income targets.
Working at the frontline of our fundraising activities, this role requires excellent communication skills, people management capabilities, determination and a ‘can do’ attitude to develop the fundraising potential of this area.
Animals Asia is keen to engage a highly motivated individual with strong fundraising skills, creativity and a passion for maximising supporter involvement and income generation to benefit animal welfare. Proven experience and success in community fundraising are essential requirements.
This is a home-based role so interested candidates must live in or close to Bristol or M4 corridor and have the flexibility to work evenings and weekends which will be essential as our volunteers are situated throughout the UK.
As part of a small staff team you will be expected to support colleagues and help out at other team events outside of your immediate community fundraising role.
