The Moon Bear Rescue Centre is not open to the public on a daily basis, but to accommodate the many requests for visits, we arrange open-day guided tours for our supporters twice a month.
Tours are limited to four groups of 20 people per day: two in the morning at 9.00am and two in the afternoon at 2.00pm. The tour lasts about 1–1.5 hours. Please note that only the morning tour is conducted in English, all other tours are in Mandarin.
The open-day tour schedule
The Open Days are held on Saturdays only, on the dates listed below, and for administrative and organisational reasons, we cannot accommodate visitors outside of these dates.
As places are limited, open-day visits are reserved for active Animals Asia donors only with a minimum donation of US$50 or equivalent. It is the donor’s generosity that helps us continue our campaign to end bear bile farming, maintain the centre and care for the rescued bears for the remainder of their lives.
If you would like to become a donor, please click here to add your contribution to the upkeep of our sanctuary. As a donor you will receive regular updates on the centre and our campaign to end bear bile farming, as well as information about our other campaigns and inside stories on our bears.
