years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).
Well done to Cats Thompson from Queensland who convinced her employer, Ikea Logan to support the Moon Bear Rescue for the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd November 2008. $1 from every toy panda and polar bear sold was donated to Animals Asia (unfortunately Ikea doesn’t stock Moon Bears yet but our own Moonie did make an appearance!). The total raised from the weekend was a fabulous $450.

Thank you to Ikea Logan for supporting our cause and to Cats and her helpers for such a fabulous weekend spreading the word, signing petitions and generally letting more people know about the plight of the Moon Bears.
