years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).
The MoonBears.org Coalition, a group of individuals committed to ending the suffering of Koreaís caged moon bears, has very generously donated HK$50,000 to the AAF Earthquake Relief Fund.
The coalition has also kindly created a link on its website to channel funds to our appeal. We are very grateful for this support and urge you to visit MoonBears.org to see what these dedicated people have been doing since launching their campaign on behalf of Koreaís moon bears in February 2007.
As well as creating awareness through its informative website, MoonBears.org this team has produced and distributed 400 DVDs and distributed them to international organisations, including the United Nations and European Union. It has an online petition that is attracting attention from around the globe and is now looking into the possibility of creating bear sanctuaries in Jirisan National Park so bears can be rescued from farms.
Itís great to know we have the support of such a team. A huge thanks from all of us at Animals Asia!
