Fiona is a journalist, copywriter and web marketing specialist as well as our UK marketing manager. For over twenty years she has worked with non-profits, involved in animal, environmental and human rights advocacy and campaigning, including in South East Asia, where she worked for a time in the Philippines.
Fiona has written three published books including a guide to how charities, campaigns and non-profits can use the internet and she also created one of the UK’s first green and ethical e-commerce website (of which she was editor and CEO) for The Big Issue and Red Pepper magazines (of which she was the publisher).
She is a life-long vegetarian, long-distance walker and sometime mountain climber, and lives in London with her best friend Missie, a 16 year old Border Collie/Saluki who rules her life. When Missie allows it, Fiona also fosters rescue dogs until they find their forever homes.
