years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).
An excellent opportunity came to us in July to take part in RHTK’s Radio Three Morning Brew show with Phil Whelan. With a few nerves Jasmine and Claire ventured over to Broadcast Drive, collected their visitor stickers and waited for the call. Luckily they quickly settled into the discussion as they were given the opportunity to talk about Professor Paws and the work we do.
Discussing the aims of the programme we were able to demonstrate the positive effects Professor Paws has on the community and how we are helping to change attitudes throughout Hong Kong.
