years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).
Justine has been volunteering for Professor Paws since 2009 and is very dedicated to the programme. On the day of the interview, together with Professors Micky, Sausage and Rocky, Justine visited the Primary 4 students of Ma On Shan Ling Liang Primary School.
In the interview, Justine explains that through interacting with Professor Paws, children come to understand that dogs are sentient beings with feelings, just the same as human beings. The most rewarding thing for Justine is to see the changes in the children, from being very scared of the dogs at the beginning to hugging and kissing them at the last lesson. Though the interview is in Chinese, you can watch the famous Care Cadet song on the video!
