years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).
Challenge yourself and help suffering and endangered animals by trekking one of the world's greatest mountain ranges for Animals Asia
Climb the peak that offers spectacular views of the Atlas Mountain range and the Sahara desert. It's an adventure you will never forget ...
This challenging trek takes you to the summit of Jebel Toubkal, in the High Atlas of southwest Morocco and at 13,671 feet, it's North Africa's highest peak. You will climb and descend through unspoiled scenery, trekking across verdant valleys, over dramatic gorges, through bountiful fruit orchards and remote Berber villages as well as up steep inclines with amazing rock formations.
This is a substantial challenge – the equivalent of walking Mount Snowdon for three consecutive days - but you’ll be the safe hands of international mountain leader and former Royal Marine Commando “Pen” Farthing, of the AdventureFitness Company who leads this trek and Animals Asia trekkers will be joined by supporters raising funds for Pen's charity Nowzad Dogs.
