years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).

Wuhan Stray Animal Rescue Center: Wuhan, Hubei Province, China
On 5 November 2010, Wuhan Stray Animal Rescue Center joined a dog show in Wuhan, Hubei Province and promoted the messages: “Be a responsible pet owner”, “Don’t eat dogs and cats” and “Adopt a dog instead of buying one”.
Their booth was the second most popular, with many people visiting the dog show and reading banners and leaflets and listening to what the volunteers told them. This was a good opportunity to promote this important information to members of the public who are, or will be, pet owners.
They held an award ceremony for the winners of the “Sharing Love with Them” photo competition. The event attracted much attention from the local media.
