years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).
AAF Australian Director, Anne Lloyd-Jones, with Paul Sillato (dressed as Moonie) and Club President, Dale Maitland accepting a Certificate of Appreciation on from the bears.
On Friday June 23rd, St John's Park Bowling Club near Cabramatta in NSW presented Animals Asia with a cheque for $1,045 which was for sales to date of the "Beary Good Cookbook". The Cookbook was the idea of keen bowler and bear supporter, Paul Sillato, who gathered recipes from his colleagues at Liverpool Hospital, and then approached St John's Park Bowling Club to sponsor the printing of the books. Many thanks to Paul for turning his idea into reality and to St John's Park Bowling Club for their support of his ingenious and delicious plan!
