As we know, all Professor Paws dogs are special. We watch them work each day bringing warmth and understanding to people in Hong Kong. Some of our Professor Paws dogs also work outside of Animal Asia continuing to touch people in their special way, and one of those dogs is Professor Baby. Professor Baby is a Chihuahua cross who, in May of 2009, was cast as a lead performer named Toto in The Wizard of Oz with the HK Singers. Baby's role required her to work with multiple actors getting cues from each of them at different times during the nearly two and a half-hour performance. She worked through bright lights, fire, explosions and an actress who had never worked with dogs before. Baby found herself not only being an actress, but teaching her lead counterpart how to love, respect and work with dogs.
