years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).
Simon Bryant, our Australian ambassador in the Friends....or Food? campaign has been working tirelessly on our behalf even when he doesn’t have to! Here he is pictured on the front cover of Adelaide Matters, in relation to a story on his resignation at the Hilton in Adelaide, wearing his Animals Asia t-shirt. Well done Simon! He even makes sure we get a mention in the article too!
MC Amber Petty, with Simon and organiser Jo Politis
promoting the Adelaide Roadshow.
Over the last few weeks Simon has catered for the Adelaide Roadshow and donated a fantastic prize for the silent auction of himself, cooking at the winner's home for up to six people, including all the food and wine.
On top of this Simon is busy designing his new chef’s blacks and guess what he has incorporated into the design? You guessed it! Animals Asia’s logo will soon feature prominently at every function Simon attends in his professional capacity.
There is even more work for Simon in the pipeline including another visit to China and the dog markets, so stay tuned and keep an eye out for the latest news.
