One-month Pet Photo Contest: Online / China-wide
Hosted by: Animals Asia Foundation, Aigou Website, and 14 animal-welfare organisations around China (One Meter Love Stray Cat Rescue Group, Beijing Lucky Cat, Sunflower Animal Welfare Group (founded by Zhangdan, China WAD ambassador), Nanning Stray Cats Rescue Group, Xiamen Animal Protection Education Committee, Changsha Small Animal Protection Association, Kunming Stray Animal Rescue Alliance, Chongqing Small Animal Protection Association, Dalian Chong’ai Tianxia, Xi’an Red Guava Companion Animal Protection Center, Ha’erbin Small Animal Protection Center, Wuhan Stray Animal Rescue Center, Shanghai Small Animal protection Association, Hainan Small Animal protection Association)
Animals Asia co-operated with 13 animal-welfare organisations around China to hold an online photo contest in China in September 2010 – the "Sharing love with them" Photo Contest. Hundreds of pet owners all around China uploaded more than 4,000 photos showing their love for their companion animals. At the end of September 2010, 15 countrywide awards were selected, as well as 10 winners from each city.

We love community
Badi in Guangzhou, who is friendly to every dog in the community and is welcomed by all residents.
Dudupi in Chengdu, who is one of our Dr Dogs and has brought happiness to many seniors and others in need.
Volunteers in Nanning, who ran a TNR programme for stray cats.
We stand together regardless of situation
Stray dog, Damei, in Dalian who was rescued by volunteers that finally found him a new home.
Two blind rescued dogs, Huahua and Lianglilang in Shenzhen, who stay loyal to their rescuer.
Ten cats rescued by Miss Jiao, a cancer patient in Ha'erbin, who have encouraged her struggle against the disease over the past seven years.
We laugh together
Two lovely dogs, Cookie and Kourou, who live with their owners in Beijing.
- Two dogs, Taotao and Lucky in Guangzhou, who stayed by their owner’s side during her pregnancy, and are now best friends with the baby too.
- Wang Fute, a golden retriever in Xi’an, who has travelled around China with her owner and had her photo taken in each place.
We grow up together
In Chengdu, Potato, whose guardian loves him so much that she drew a birthday card for her dog.
Mogen, who was sick when he was young, and has been operated on four times. His guardian is still trying her best to cure him, and now Mogen has become one of our Dr Dogs.
Tiantian, a rescued cat in Changsha, who is now enjoying happy days.
A total of 16 Chinese cities cooperated with local animal-welfare groups to conduct award ceremonies in October-November for these special people and companion-animal winners – Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi’an, Xiamen, Shijiazhuang, Wuhan, Haikou, Nanning, Kunming, Ha’erbin, Changsha, and Dalian.
