years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).
Woodcroft College under the inspiration of Ann Murn have gone all out to help the bears by raising money to sponsor their own bear "Woody"!
Fun fundraising events included a wheelathon on the tennis courts - all Year 8 classes raised over AUD1,000 in sponsorship money for laps around the tennis courts - bringing bikes, skates, skateboards, inline skates, and even pull along wheely toys and were sponsored by their friends, family and neighbours per lap - great fun!
As the Animals Asia Australian office is located in Adelaide, Woodcroft over the years have very kindly helped with mailouts and held stalls and cake days and joined with the Body Shop to sell stickers, plush bears and take donations. Thank you to teachers and students of Woodcroft College!
