years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).
Animals Asia volunteer Jean Signore recently organized a delightful afternoon of bowling, prizes, and great music at RVC Lanes in Rockville Centre, New York to benefit Animals Asia’s End Bear Bile Farming and Cat and Dog Welfare programs.
Twenty-seven supporters, including three league bowlers, took to the lanes for the event. Says Jean, “…[T]he majority of everyone else really hadn’t bowled in years (the scores proved it!).” Despite the scores, a good time was had by all who came out to support the animals. One team even created their own Bowl for Bears t-shirts.
