years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).
BBC Wildlife Magazine has selected Jill Robinson, Animals Asia’s founder and CEO, as one of ten British wildlife heroes. They're asking people to vote for the one they'd most like to hear interviewed on the BBC Radio 4 show, Desert Island Discs (though there’s no guarantee of an interview).
This is great recognition for Jill’s work, and especially welcome at this time when we're facing the eviction of our Vietnam sanctuary. The increased profile would give us the opportunity to reach a wider audience and call on more people to help Stop the Eviction.
