years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).
Morgan joined Animals Asia in 2007, heading up our North American PR and outreach efforts before being recently appointed US Director.
Hailing from New York, Morgan worked in publishing and education before following her heart to a career in animal welfare and a move to the west coast. Realizing that animal advocacy was her true passion, she went to work for the Marin Humane Society (MHS) in Northern California – first in their PR department and later heading up Educational Outreach – and it was while at MHS that Morgan had the opportunity to hear Jill speak when she visited the organization as part of a US Roadshow. After meeting Jill and learning about the plight of the moon bears, Morgan began volunteering for Animals Asia and in 2007 officially joined the team. She now heads up our US office in San Francisco.
Morgan lives in Northern California with her husband, young daughter and their family of rescued animals including two wonderful dogs, six lovely cats, one curious rat and a very peaceful turtle.
