Juanita joined Animals Asia in December 2007 after spending a decade in the advertising industry. Prior to joining Animals Asia, Juanita served as the General Manager of Fallon Asia. She has also held account management roles at FCB and Telstra. Throughout her career, Juanita has helped brands such as Citibank, United Airlines, Hong Kong Tourism Board, The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Carlsberg and Fosters launch successful campaigns across Asia.
Juanita was first introduced to Animals Asia's work in 2005, while at Fallon. Having a strong affinity for animals, she was horrified at what she learned about bear farming. She promptly recruited the team to create a pro-bono ad campaign for the organisation and has been a strong supporter of the cause ever since. In 2006, she decided to leave the corporate world to use her talent and experience to benefit animal welfare.
Juanita has lived and worked in India, Australia, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and most recently Vietnam. She currently spends her time between Hong Kong and Vietnam where she, her husband and beautiful new baby boy share their home with their animal family of two dogs and three cats.
