MOUNT SNOWDON CHALLENGE 2009
6 June 2009 and 7 June 2009
We’ve teamed up with The AdventureFitness Company, who are generously providing 2 qualified and experienced mountain leaders, free of charge, to expertly lead your trek up the Snowdon Rangers path (pictured below) and through some of the most spectacular scenery in the British Isles. And at the end of it, you can sink a well-deserved pint in the pub!
At 1,085 metres, Snowdon is the highest mountain in England and Wales and the same height as Table Mountain in South Africa. The terrain is comparatively easy going, and our challenge is graded as hill walking but what it lacks in difficulty it more than makes up for with variety and interest. With ever-changing views this is an ideal trek for anyone with a reasonable fitness level - this is not a race but a personal or team challenge while raising much needed funds for the animals you care about.
With places limited to just 20 people each day, we hope you will agree this is a great opportunity to challenge yourself and have a fun day out in the the company of like-minded individuals who just like you care passionately about the fate of the moon bears, cats and dogs. And most importantly want to make a positive difference!
