years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).
For the second time in 2009 Sydney coffee bar, Two Black Sheep, invited Animals Asia to take part in a fundraising morning by donating 5c from every coffee sold to the Moon Bear Rescue. Huge signs were hung to promote the cause and our lovely Moonie waved down both loyal and new customers to buy their morning brew and help the bears. A huge thanks to owner Adam Wright and his talented team of baristas and to Cristina Corales (pictured with Adam) who volunteered to wear the bear suit for almost two hours on a hot December morning. What a trooper!
