years ago this April, Jill Robinson first walked onto a bear bile farm. On that day in April 1993, Jill could have walked away, but she chose to act and do what she could. Today, you also have a choice. If everyone reading this donated just US$20, it would pay for the care of over 150 bears at our China sanctuary for a full year. Please help us celebrate 20 years of progress. Donate US$20 today (or whatever you can afford).
At 12 pm on 10th May 2008 at Redlands airfield near Swindon, Hampshire based supporter Emily Bowen took a deep breath and jumped out of an aircraft wearing a Moon Bear suit as part of her fundraising initiative for Animals Asia!
“I was watching a documentary about the fur trade of cats and dogs in China. AAF was mentioned so I looked into it via the website. The cruelty suffered by the cats, dogs and bears appalled both myself and my husband so we decided to join AAF. Since then we have helped out at a few events but I wanted to do something really challenging. I am quite scared of heights and wanted to do something that would test me and force me to face up to a fear, to show in action my support for the brave workers and volunteers trying to help these animals. The fear the animals suffer everyday is much worse than anything I went through.”
Emily has raised over £500
In full flight to raise funds for cats and dogs in China.
