Organising an event to raise money for the bears could not be easier – and you’re only limited by your imagination. Here are a few ideas:
Dinner party
Charge friends to sample your culinary delights.
Garage sale
Make some money while de-cluttering your life.
Sponsored walk, run or cycle
Get fit and make the most of the freedom so many bears are denied. Just ask your friends to sponsor you!
After-work drinks
Ask your friends to donate a small amount to attend.
Busk for the bears
Ever fancied yourself as a star? Hit the streets and sing, dance or do your magic (make sure you get written permission if doing this on private land).
Hold an Olympic night
Have your friends around to watch the opening of the Olympics (the same day as our 10th birthday!)
Bake cakes or savouries – and sell them at work or school and donate the money to the bears.
Ten for ten
Ask your friends to donate $10 to celebrate 10 years of Animals Asia working to restore respect and end cruelty for animals Asia-wide.
Hold a karaoke night
Charge your friends for assaulting your eardrums!
Once you decide what you want to do and when, please register your event and we will send you a Host Pack containing a Host Booklet, Moon Bear Rescue leaflets, a Receipt Book, Host Deposit Form, Donation Forms, a donation box and a Honey Money Days poster.
